The pattern is taken from a section of an image:
– exhibited in the sighted child series
– which was then transcribed into silver by artist/jeweller Jason Patterson
– where it became a kind of Frankenstein object
– which happens when something is brought into being with questionable origins or purpose
– the information was then transcribed again into code as a digital model by Adam David
– before being sent to the lab for 3D printing 
– and then coming home to be hand-dyed by me
